Part of our strategy at Street Soccer Seattle is to use simple interactions on the soccer field as a starting point to build a powerful team family. The team becomes a a focal point of interaction between individuals experiencing homelessness, coaches, volunteers, and community partners. Street Soccer Seattle uses this team platform to support its members  and to create a training curriculum of job preparation, life skills, and other specialized services. The team supports homeless youth and young adults through their trials and their successes, and ultimately seeks to connect participants directly to jobs, education, and housing.
